Sipadan Dive Resorts

Visitors to the region of Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai are no longer permitted to stay overnight on the island but Sipadan is easily reached via a 20 minute boat ride from Mabul Island, where most dive resorts are located. Due to conservation reasons, the Sipadan Marine Park authority imposed a restriction of 120 visitors per day to the island and permits are authorized on a first come first served basis so booking early is highly recommended to dive in Sipadan.
